Duke Energy
Website Redesign
Content Strategy & Development lead
After acquiring Progress Energy, the world’s biggest power provider had a big problem — its websites were outdated, inconsistent, and unwieldy. We crafted a content strategy to streamline the content, creating a simpler and more helpful experience for the site’s users.
We also worked with the Duke team to define content workflow and governance processes, to maintain a high quality of content post-launch.

We worked with Duke to create a simpler, more streamlined information architecture.
We performed a content audit and inventory of more than 8,000 pages, then created a detailed plan for mapping the content to the new site.
Content was re-written to give the utility company a friendlier, more approachable voice & tone.
We advised the Duke team on content workflow and governance practices to maintain consistency and quality of site content.
